In early 2023, the Los Altos History Museum in California unveiled its remodeled permanent exhibition and simultaneously mounted a retrospective in its rotating exhibition gallery. I brainstormed and designed the first-draft collateral pieces for the retrospective, The Past Shapes The Future, using two themes proposed by the client: (1) showcase postcards from past exhibits and (2) create a History Museum word cloud. Below are a few of the designs I delivered to the museum’s in-house marketing team. These designs use past postcards for the exhibit’s Intro Panel, large Outdoor Banner, and Website Announcement and a museum word cloud for the Handout Postcard and Back Anchor Wall. Also shown is a design for Quotes that line the top of a long side gallery wall.
